That’s a wrap

Well. For now that’s it! We’ve somehow got through the whole class series, done two Q & A episodes and even had a little chat about what we’ve all learnt. It’s been quite a journey over the last few months, learning from each other and not to mention the amazing feedback we’ve received on email or via the social media channels.

We’re definitely going to keep the podcast online for people to check out what we’ve been talking about. We will continue to do new episodes (but probably not for a while yet – it’s been a bit testing at times) and bring you content from the world of playing for ballet. If you have any questions please do contact us either via email or on the socials and one of us will get back to you as soon as we can.

For now we’d like to say thank you to the people who’ve helped us make this podcast happen (in no particular order) –

Jo Brent Photography – Jo has done all the headshots, videos in the studio and most of the group photos you see on our side and social media. Interesting fact – she also did the photographs for Chris and Akiko’s wedding! She is one of the loveliest human beings in the world. If you ever need anything photographic – please check out her website www.jobrentphotography.com

Andreas Haberlin – Pianist, Composer and Music Technologist. Andreas can do anything. He writes musicals, he accompanies ballet, he creates some of the most amazing sound libraries which can be used in programmes such as Logic etc. Without him our baby (aka this podcast) wouldn’t have the most amazing music that it does.

Jonathan Still – aka The Godfather. Put quite simply – the man with the most amazing knowledge about ballet – possibly world wide! You must check out his website where there is an unbelievable amount of information for any pianist from beginner to professionals with decades of experience. Jonathan also produced all the transcriptions of the episodes – thank you!

Larissa Wiens – Larissa designed the branding, artwork and logo for the podcast. We wouldn’t look the same without you! Thank you!

So – for now I’m going on holiday to the south of Spain – not taking a laptop, not taking a mobile broadband router. I intend on sitting in the garden, drinking sangria at lunchtime and eating lots of gambas pil pil and reading a book!

Thank you all for listening, for your support, generosity and amazing feedback.

All our love, Chris, Matt, Akiko and David xx
